I briefly had another agency contact me and it seemed like they kept trying to funnel me down avenues that did not fit our wants or needs. The other agency also shared my contact information without my consent, and I began getting several unsolicited phone calls per day. It felt almost predatory to me at an already hard time for me and my family. I appreciate you guys NOT doing that. I can’t say enough good things about your organization and the way Tammy took care of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I found Tammy and she has been a blessing, she met with me at the facility she recommended and assisted getting my Dad in the facility. 10/10			Leslie Flathmann We were in desperate need to find a facility for my mom. She has dementia and we could no longer give her the care she needs. I tried finding a place on my own but was unsuccessful. We also had financial limitations to deal with. A social worker gave me Tammy Brewer’s number and she was such a Godsend! I called her and within a few days she found a place for mom. Tammy met me at the home on Friday and by next Friday my mom was moving in! Tammy was so patient with us and all of our questions. Mom is doing great and everyone loves her. It has definitely eased my mind to know that she’s doing well. I highly recommend CarePatrol!

Everyone has been helpful, answered all of our many, many questions, offered some great advice from their experiences and things we didn’t even think about. They were able to help find a place for my FIL as well as answer questions about my Father and share some amazing resources for him as well. They are a wealth of knowledge that we are so glad we were able to tap into. This is an industry you don’t know much about until you are thrown into it and CarePatrol was there to help us sort things out and understand the many different options available. In the distress of caring for my single disabled VET brother with early dementia/Alzheimer’s very unexpectedly 24/7 when he did not “fit” well into a new assisted living home we had just place him in, I found Tammy! She was such a delight and brought light into the long dark tunnel of searching while caring for him at once. Tanny listened with such kind compassion, noting all of Mike’s needs & struggles but also his strengths & personality to help find the place that he would best fit so that he could quickly get all the care needed and then once settles be able to thrive. She knew Mike would want to feel relaxed in a homey atmosphere that had the spaces he could enjoy best with others like him. The whole stressful process was made so much better with Tammy’s knowledge, insights & compassion filled experience. I will highly recommend Tammy to all I meet experiencing the need for care for their friend or loved one. Thanks for all you did to help me & my brother, Mike! You were truly a God send for us both <3

We went through three trips to the ER and she was there after trip two to help us get him where he is now- a good memory care facility where he is cared for properly. Tammy is incredible. I had a great feeling about Tammy after she spent 45 minutes asking me about my mom. From there, she built. a profile of what was important to her and based her tours on those elements in the profile. As we visited a number of facilities, Tammy often new more about the assisted living apartments than the person representing the facility. She also knew what questions to ask as my moms representative. Tammy worked for several months to find a place for our mom. When we ultimately decided to move mom to Colorado, Tammy worked to find us another Care Patrol representative in the Denver area. She is top rate!!!

Her perspective has been helpful in comparing notes from our own research. Importantly, she has been very responsive as due to Covid and our own scheduling challenges, we have been calling and asking her to schedule tours/interviews at the last moment and she has been able to do so. When she is not available, her partner has met us at the facility. Lastly, she has been patient as our parent has been reticent in moving to a facility. Care Patrol was an absolute lifesaver for our family. We had an emergency situation and needed to find care for a loved immediately. They were kind, professional, and an inspirational resource for finding high quality care. I having a professional that understands the process and knows personally about the type of care each facility delivers. I would not. I have known the right questions to ask or how to navigate the system, and they did so beautifully. I couldn’t imagine after working with CarePatrol, ever navigating the decision on where to place a loved one by myself we even received resources to help us understand the nature of the disease we were dealing with, and have proved to be an invaluable resource, when questions and issues arise. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Tammy. She has even helped friends and they’ve all shared the same high opinion. Kim patrol is an absolutely invaluable resource.

I met Tammy Brewer about 5 years ago. She found placement for my brother twice now, and she is still helping. My brother is mentally challenged and he is 68 years old with seizures. So I have had challenges with finding someone willing to house him. I know that Tammy does not normally place mentally challenged people, but she has found a way through the many resources to place him each time.
I have no idea what I would do if I had not met Tammy, She is professional, caring and always looking for the best way to help. Tammy is definitely a blessing.

These ladies know the assisted living business. They earned their keep with my situation. Mother extremely difficult. Tammy and Tammy gave excellent guidance, showed great patience and held everything together for us, all the while having to weather through months of obnoxious lack of cooperation from my mother.

She found a residence for my 96 year old father, helped me get him registered, drove me from my hotel to his new residence in Georgia (Tammy is in Canton, Georgia, and I live in Colorado). I would have been lost without her and Care Patrol. She also offered to continue to help should I be of need. Great, great service truly appreciated.

I stumbled upon CarePatrol in a Google search and decided to call them to see what they offered. Tammy Brewer took my call and after talking to her for a short few minutes, I could tell she was going to really help me and not be “That salesperson” that you don’t want.
Tammy bent over backward and helped me find a place for mom. She never got tired of my meandering and back and forth the whole time. She was so patient and so frikin helpful that I had to write this review to tell you how wonderful she was for me!
Folks, all you need to do is pick up the phone and call her, you won’t regret it I promise! She will bend over backward for you just like she did for me.

I’m about 8 hours drive from my mother and received a call from the local fire department indicating that she wasn’t doing well and needed to be put into assisted living. They recommended Tammy and she was awesome! She spent the time to talk with me to get to know what my mother was like so that she could recommend services that would work for her. When my mother transitioned to assisted living, she was there to talk with her to explain everything that was happening, and assuring my mother that she was in control of her life and that Tammy was an advocate for her. My dad was diagnosed with a chronic illness. He required being on oxygen 24/7 and was a prisoner in his own home that did not have main level living. He was getting to the point where he could not make it up the stairs to the master bedroom. Wellstar’s social worker provided me the name of Care Patrol and we met with Tammy. She listened to our family’s needs with empathy and realized the urgency for finding an assisted living ASAP. Tammy was kind, professional, knowledgeable, accessible and reliable and immediately set up tours at different assisted livings. Tammy was there for for my mom and I at each appointment/tour and asked the questions that my mom and I wouldn’t have asked or were difficult to ask. We decided on an assisted living that was perfect for my parents and fit their needs. Tammy provided us a referral to Welcome Home Move Managers and Kristine not only moved my parents into their 2 bedroom unit but set it everything up all, in in one day. Arbor terrace of Burnt Hickory had a balcony where my parents could sit outside and enjoy their morning coffee which was extremely important as my dad loved the outdoors. We were able to get him a scooter that provided him independence once again. Staff at Arbor Terrace were incredible. Although my dad was there only 5 months before he passed away, it was because of Tammy with Care Patrol, that my dad was able to be in a place that improved his quality of life in his remaining months. Words cannot sum up how appreciative and thankful we were!

Tammy is Amazing!!! Without a definite diagnosis, or knowing where to start, I was becoming overwhelmed with what care my ill father needed. Tammy helped identify personal care homes that could meet my father’s needs, within our budget, and even close to my home. I was able to personally tour the homes, meet and interview the caregivers, and decide which home suited my father the best. There were a few wrinkles with the hospice company, but Tammy was right there to help us iron them out. She does not just leave you once placement is made. She followed up with me several times to insure everything was going smoothly. And their services are free to caregivers and patients!!

We were in a bind – we had our grand-daughter in NICU at Children’s Healthcare and my dad needed to be moved from his home in Macon Ga closer to me – so much going on and we did not know where to turn. After several dead ends we found out about CarePatrol and Tammy Brewer in our area. We talked with Tammy and told her what we were looking for. Dad did not have much money to work with and she was upfront with us about what it would cost him and how the whole personal care program worked. Tammy was able to come up a couple of initial options for us to look at but they were either too far away or we did not feel comfortable during the visit. She did not give up and found a place closer to us and we felt good about the care team there. A week before dad was to move in – something came up and they were not going to be able to take him in when we needed to move him. Tammy again went searching and found a place even closer to us and in an area that was even better for dad’s situation. We ended our visit in the driveway with the best feeling ever that this was the place he needed to be. The home was convenient, in budget, has great care takers – everything we had asked of Tammy and CarePatrol. We really felt like she truly listened to our needs and the needs of my dad. We really appreciated Tammy and all her efforts in taking this endeavor off our shoulders. We could not be happier with the way this turned out.

I can’t even begin to imagine going through what I’ve gone through alone.. looking for the perfect home for my mom was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.. I started out looking on line and setting up appointments to places that were in our budget but it was like buying a used car, they will say anything for you to sign. A friend of mine saw a post from Care Patrol on Facebook and sent me the information, the rest is history!! I tell anyone who will listen that it is like having your own person realtor who will find you the perfect home the only difference is that moving day isn’t as fun.. it’s actually down-right heart wrenching. I was lucky enough to meet Tammy Brewer who helped me not only find a home but talked me off the ledge numerous times, not only did she help me find my Mom a safe and comfortable place to live but she was there for me 1000k% of the time. I can not fully express my appreciation for the assistance that Tammy Brewer and Care Patrol in Marietta, Georgia, has given us in a very difficult time of transition. I am an out of state friend to a 94 year old woman who was getting steadily frailer and needed to transition to assisted living but was resistant to do so. My friend has no close family and is quite vulnerable. We found Care Patrol at the recommendation of the social worker at the hospital

 and it has been a life saver. Tammy has coached us step by step in finding 24 hour care providers, touring possible facilities, finding an attorney for a new will, arranging a mover, and much more. She is experienced in the issues we were facing and made difficult things seem much more normal. I had no idea that this type of wise counsel was even available. Even with me being many hours away I was able to efficiently navigate the transition with confidence that each of the options she gave is were safe and accountable. This alone was a huge peace of mind. I would encourage anyone facing an elderly persons care situation to reach out to Care Patrol and accept their assistance.

I just wanted to Thank Tammy Brewer and Care Patrol for finding a Personal Care Home for my mom who has dementia!
I met Tammy several months ago when I was having a real tuff time dealing with mom and possibly having to give up a few things in my life to take care of her! Tammy persuaded me I was doing the best thing for my mom and myself by putting her in a home and YES she was right! I now can be the caring and loving daughter and let the caregiver care for her! Mom has been in a pch home now for 2 1/2 months and she couldn’t be happier! She has met friends there and a caregiver that is remarkable! Tammy Colwell Brewer is a star. Tammy keeps on working far past what might be expected; she just keeps on helping and solving problem after problem. Maybe she wouldn’t want me to tell you that! Me and my family recently worked with Tammy Brewer to find a place-a RIGHT place for my precious mother. We got Tammy’s name as a referral. As my Mom’s condition continued to quickly decline we suddenly found ourselves in a place to seek outside help but also discovered that neither insurance or Medicare would pay anything toward that help and we felt helpless and hopeless as our finances were limited. Then we met Tammy. Just so caring and eager to help. She herself had been exactly where we were and she understood completely. She worked and found a place she thought we would like AND that met our needs. She even went with us to check it out. It ended up the RIGHT place for my Mom, nothing like I ever expected or thought exsisted. The place is like a real “home” in care and feeling. Needless to say we placed Mom there immediately and to our surprise, she likes it too! Tammy Brewer is my lifesaver! She enabled us all to restore life and actually be our Mom’s family again. Hi Care Patrol, I wanted to say how happy I was to find Tammy Brewer, while searching for my friend Candace Blum. There were many challenges regarding getting connected with Care Patrol, but Tammy pushed those all aside and went to work finding Candy the right home. Tammy hooked us up with Latullipe Personal Care home right away. We had several financial barriers in the beginning, but Tammy knew it all could be worked out. She went out of her way to secure Candy a place at Latullipe. I just can’t speak highly enough about Tammy Brewer. It turns out that Latullipe would be Candy final journey before she went to be with God. If Tammy had not worked so hard to find Candy this wonderful place at Latullipe, Candy’s final year may have been difficult. There are not enough words to describe the service that was provided for my mom before she left rehab. Tammy McGown carefully listened to everything that mom needed and her budget restrains. She found TWO places that fit the needs. We went to the first one she recommended and did not even go see the second.

Mom had a few set backs… and Tammy came by to visit to offer her encouragement. She has since come by mom’s new location to be sure Mom was doing okay.

As we were blind sighted by needing an alternative location for mom… Tammy and the Care Patrol were our rescuers. WE didn’t have to run around checking out places while we were still working and over-seeing the care mom needed.

If you are walking this walk…. save a month of steps and allow the Care Patrol to walk those for you.

With my mom in a wheelchair and a broken arm, I desperately needed help finding a place that would give her the best care in the Cobb County, GA area. But Mom’s worst fear has always been going into a nursing home. We were given less than 3 days notice that my father-in-law was being released from rehab. Tammy had helped us in the past but with limited income and a higher level of care required we called her again. She was almost immediately able to place him in a great personal care home that met his level of care. He was released on a Sunday & the transport company wanted to charge almost $350. We called Tammy and she was able to get us someone for less than half that!
Tammy has always been there for us and responds quickly when we call or text. She has always shown compassion for him and his finances. She even directed me to someone who could help with his tax problems. We could not have been in better hands.
As an update- he was back in the hospital 2 weeks ago and is now it multiple organ failure. The hospital recommended hospice care at a particular facility. Our first call was to Tammy who agreed with the recommendation. She still offered to go and visit it with us!
So many people are in this same situation and have no where to turn. We tell as many people as we can about Carepatrol and Tammy Brewer. We are so grateful to her and the great assistance she provides during difficult times.

“…Not knowing where to start to locate a facility closer to me and in her price range, I began an Internet search for information. I completed a form for information about personal care homes in my area and within minutes Tammy Brewer was on my phone introducing herself and offering her help.

We met that afternoon and I immediately felt that Tammy had the skills and expertise to help me find just the right place for my mother. She asked all the right questions and gave me a sense that not only did she care, she could help. The next day our search began.

Tammy accompanied me on site visits and asked questions that were important in accessing the homes ability to care for my mother. She offered candid feedback about pros and cons of each facility. Never pushy but always helpful, we were able to narrow down the list. She worked with the home we selected to address any concern that we identified and negotiated a fair rate for my mother’s monthly rent.

When moving day arrived, Tammy arranged a convenient time for me to transition my Mom and insured that she was welcomed and cared for from the beginning.
