I was born and raised in Stuart, Florida. I attended Martin County High School, Indian River Junior College, and University of Florida earning Jurist Doctoral degree in December of 1970. I am married with two children, four stepchildren, and four grandchildren.

My father served in US Navy in WWII and my mother served at Camp Murphy in telephone communications for the service, I had several uncles served as well. I broke my ankle in 6 places playing baseball and was unable to pass physical when I received my notice to serve. I served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 19th Circuit for two years. I have been in private practice in Stuart, Florida since April 2, 1971 specializing in real property, probate, wills, and trusts. I am a past Martin County Bar President and was recently recognized for my 51 year of service in the Florida Bar. I have been recognized by Martindale & Hubble as highly rated in both ethical and legal acknowledge. As well as The American Registry as being in top 10% of most honored lawyers. I have been a title agent for Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund for over 50 years.

I have performed pro bono work assisting non-profit charities and lower income individuals with their legal problems. It has been my practice to prove legal services at a discount for military and first responders in recognition for what they do for this county.
