I have a lot of health conditions and struggled with going thru insurance companies and trying to figure out how to help myself along the way. Now I take my self learned knowledge and assist my clients thru the frustration with their healthcare/insurance needs. I advocate for them. I also have the ability to empathize with them and what they may be going thru. Having a chronic illness is hard to deal with and sometimes just knowing you have someone there who understands, is invaluable.
I have multiple family members who have served in the Army, Marines and Navy. Both my grandfathers, my uncle, cousin, little brother and little sister have served from World War 2, Vietnam and Desert Storm. My cousin was stationed in Afghanistan and all over the middle east when tensions high while in the Marines. My sister spent multiple years on the USS Nimitz. Veterans are near and dear to my heart.
