Business Philosophy

I have sold over 340 homes with over 200 million dollars in combined sales within the last 15 years. I am very familiar with all the local areas within the Santa Clara Valley, from schools to the cities themselves, and I enjoy helping to assist families coming here from all over the country and the world. They always know when they call Mike and his Team, they can count on excellent service and continued support whether they are looking to buy now or later, as well as just renting. Education and Training

One thing I have always believed in is good education. Coming into the Real Estate business, I wanted to have separation from all the other realtors. So, I decided to take classes on Real Estate and graduate from the schools that give distinguished credentials in this business.

Such as the Council of Real Estate Specialists, or CRS, designations—only 4% of all realtors ever achieve this as it a hard course and difficult to complete and you have to maintain certain grades to graduate. There is also the Graduate of Realtor Institute, or GRI—only 10% of realtors ever graduate from this one.

Other designations I have achieved are:

  • Relocation Specialists (With Sirva, Cartus, Graebel, USAA, etc.)
  • SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) Serving the retiring public
  • Credit Union Certified Realtor – Serving the local Credit Union Members
  • ASP- Accredited Staging Professional
  • NAR Green Designation – National Association of Realtors Green Graduate
  • SFR- Short Sale and Foreclosure designation
  • E-Pro- Technology Program designation

And my favorite one is being a member of the First Cupertino Leadership class of 1987, helping to develop the direction the city now has.

Areas of Expertise

The best way to describe my Real Estate knowledge is to explain what I do:

  • Help new arrivals to the valley understand the traffic patterns
  • Explain the history of the Bay Area and Silicon Valley, so buyers can understand “WHY” prices are what they are.
  • Show buyers the recently sold and pending properties to give some current market direction
  • Help Sellers get the best price for their homes, through staging and network marketing as examples.

I have sold old, new, fixer uppers, and extremely upscale “turn key” homes
