My Father is Chief Master Seargent Tillman Braden Jr. Dad was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Dad was rather rambunctious as a teen; he left home and joined the US Navy and was stationed in the Philippines. After his tour, he went back to his home in Kalamazoo, Michigan and later enlisted in the United States Air Force. I was born at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio when I was two years old, we were transferred to Eielson AFB, in Fairbanks Alaska. Dad received orders to deploy to Danang in Vietnam in 1967, where he was put in charge of the Air Force Ground Transportation. My mother and I moved back to her hometown of Indianapolis in the Summer of 1968. I grew up in Indianapolis, attending Holy Spirit Grade School and Warren Central High School.
I learned discipline and how to conduct myself from my dad, as the oldest of two boys, I was the one who got to do all the chores and learned that I was handy and self-sufficient thanks to the skills, habits, and responsibilities I earned. I was blessed to have been given a very good mind and have always strived to use it and never take it for granted or misuse it in any way. I was extremely athletic, playing every sport from Football, Baseball, Basketball, Wrestling, Golf and Tennis. Although I never served, I am an intensely proud American, respectful of others, cordial, and humble. I had a fantastic role model in my father, and I try each day to live my life and to treat others with the dignity and respect that was instilled in me by him.
I have learned that one of the hardest things for a proud American and proud Veteran is asking for help. I understand that on a deep level. In my business, I help people every day understand their Health Benefits and Medicare and Health Insurance. I understand the shortcomings of Tricare, Tricare For Life, and VA Benefits and I work diligently to help veterans and their families to the best of my God-given abilities each day. If I can help you or your family in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out. If I can help, I would be honored to assist you and your family in any way.
Thank You, Thank you for your Service and your Sacrifices, and God Bless You and Your Family!
