Her father-in-law, Joe, devoted his career to the United States Air Force and retired in San Antonio after serving at bases in Alabama, New Jersey, and Germany. Today at age 93, he remains active, swimming regularly, sharing treats with neighbors, and writing books. Her brother-in-law, Chuck, proudly served many years in the U.S. Air Force and later with the Army National Guard in Oklahoma.
Melindaโs husband, Lee, is a professional musician with the San Antonio Philharmonic and the San Antonio Brass Band, as well as a mortgage loan officer with Reverse Mortgage Authority. Together, they share a strong appreciation for service, dedication, and family in addition to loving their 2 mini long-haired dachshunds.ย In her spare time, Melinda golfs, plays in various poker tournaments around the country and referees golf tournaments for various local/state and national organizations.
