Marianne Carlson has led a most interesting life. She’s lived in 6 different countries, and forged a career that incorporates lessons and skills that were learned along the way. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland with a perfect 4.0, and continues to strive for excellence in everything she does.
Today, Marianne owns Einstein Advisors with her husband of 45 years, Don Carlson. Together, they serve our community’s senior population as Independent Medicare Brokers. Because she represents well over 100 Advantage Plans and Supplement Plans, she’s able to help her clients choose the RIGHT plan for them, without bias or restrictions. As she says, “I’m just an educator. I teach you what you need to understand about Medicare so you can make an informed, intelligent decision for yourself. Whatever that decision is, it’s my genuine pleasure to help you with the process.”
Marianne’s husband, Don, served in the Air Force from 1968-1972, then served as a civilian employee of the Defense Department for 25 years, in assignments that spanned the globe. Marianne’s professional career was influenced by her family’s frequent moves. Each move found her with a new job, and the overseas moves placed her in various positions under the Defense Department. In 2001, the family moved to Wiesbaden, Germany, and Marianne took a position with the Army’s 3rd Corp Support Command. She spent 6 months in Iraq in 2003, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was that life-altering experience that forged her deep affection and respect for America’s Military Veterans. It is now her personal mission to assist those Veterans as they work through their Medicare decisions. She says, “It’s an honor and a privilege to continue to support our Veterans, and I love what I do. I hope I never retire!”
