About Lenny Morgan | Lenny Morgan Insurance

Thank you for your time and your business. Here is a little bit about me, your agent/broker. I am a father of three adult children and grandfather to three grandchildren. After graduating from Overland High School in Aurora, CO, in 1993, I joined the U.S. Army and served with honors as a combat medic. I was honorably discharged after my 4-year term and began a career as an insurance agent. Since 1998, I have been helping people with their health and life insurance. Since approximately 2010, I have also been helping people with their Medicare Insurance and navigating the often-confusing world of Medicare. I have become an expert in the realm of Medicare and have taught classes to the general public about how Medicare works and how to choose the best insurance plans to supplement anyone’s particular situation.

I am a broker, meaning I do not represent any single insurance company. I am contracted with MANY insurance companies and have licenses and partnerships to do business in all 50 states. This freedom of choice allows me to make recommendations in the client’s best interest and always recommend the ideal company and plan for each client.

My services are free to my clients. I am paid by the insurance companies when I help a client sign up for a new insurance plan. The price you pay as a client is the same if you sign up with me or directly with the insurance company; however, by signing up with me, you retain me as your agent. As your agent, I will help guide your decisions to meet your goals and save you money. Insurance companies value the expertise that an agent (or broker, in my case) can bring to their clients, and this is how I get paid without that pay coming out of your pocket and without any extra cost added to the premium. Can you see any reason you would not want an insurance expert working for your best interests at no cost to you?

WHY? The reason that I continue to do what I do is related to my purpose in life. I aim to help bring peace, prosperity, and joy to everyone I meet. In business, this means using the good old-fashioned “Golden Rule.” I feel that everyone should be treated the way that I want to be treated. I carry this belief into everything that I do in my business. If you ever feel this is not happening, PLEASE let me know, and I will correct it immediately.

I am always just an email or phone call away.

Military Background

I enlisted on March 23, 1994, in the Army. My boot camp was at Ft Leonard wood, MO. It snowed the day I got there, and it was very hot and humid on the day that I left. Next, I went to the beautiful Presidio in Monterey, CA, and studied Arabic for one year. Next, I trained at Ft Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. I graduated from combat medic training as the valedictorian. Next, I served at Ft Hood, TX, for the next 3 years as a combat Medic for the 2nd Armor Division (General Paton’s Division). Near the end, my unit was realigned under the 4th Infantry Division. During my 3 years at Ft Hood, I was the most decorated soldier, including the prestigious Expert Field Medical Badge (I won more awards over the 3 years than anyone else). I was honorably discharged in 1998.

My father in law from my first marriage served at Fitzsimmons Army hospital during the Vietnam War. My father from my current marriage served after the Vietnam era and finished his career at Ft Carson, Colorado Springs. My grandfather served during WWII, but he never talked about it. I asked him about it once, and he teared up and walked away. As an adult, I understand the emotional pain he must have had attached to the experience. My great-grandfather, Lyman P. Davidson, served during WWII as well. I heard great stories from my grandmother regarding his time of service.

One story I heard regarding Lt. Col. Davidson is that during the war, he was given the charge to find a way to raise funds, but he was not given the how-to. He sold some of the government’s land from the base to raise the funds. He got in trouble for that, but he met the goal of raising the needed funds.

Another story that is quite funny is when he (Lt. Col. Davidson) called the base commander by mistake and said something that was not intended for the base commander, which got the commander upset. The commander asked him, “Do you know who this is?” Realizing his mistake, Davidson said to the commander, “No, do you know who this is?” – the response was “No.” Davidson then replied, “Good!” and hung up the phone. He later discovered who’s phone number he had called but the base commander never found out.
