Larry’s Humanitarian Work
Larry is very active in Hickory Flat UMC, the North Georgia Conference of United Methodist Men, and All Pro Dad’s. He’s had the privilege of traveling to Mexico, Costa Rica, Florida, and Mississippi on mission trips to help those in need. On some mission trips they not only helped build or repair churches, but homes, shelters, and schools. They were able to provide food, clean water, clothing, books, blankets, glasses, etc. to those communities. He also has for several decades gone out with several different organizations (especially Hickory Flat UMC) to prepare warm meals, donations, hygiene kits, and distribute everything to those in need in the Atlanta area.

I met Larry back in 2016. At that time I was living in an apartment and working at a restaurant in the dish pit.
