The late Gale Tenney was the original owner and founder of GWT Insurance services agency. Gale was in the insurance business for over 30 years. In 2008 his daughter, Janet Lindy, joined him in the business. As a little girl Janet would go with her dad to the office and pretend to do paperwork. She took that as a sign that she would join him in the insurance business.
Janet is married and has 4 boys, 2 of whom are grown and 2 who make her life interesting and emphasizes for her the value of insurance. Like her father did, Janet has a passion to help employers, seniors, individuals, and families find the best health plans and benefit solutions for their health insurance coverage needs.
Our goal is to establish a relationship whereby our clients will contact us without hesitation. We take pride in having clientele that we know on a first name basis and vice versa. We get to know our clients and their families, not just their plan name. Our clients can depend on our honesty and integrity. We continually educate ourselves and our clients.

Janet Lindy’s family has a proud history of military service. Commander Fred Lindy, USN, Retired, dedicated 35 years to the Navy. Enlisting in 1984, he began his career as an Electrician’s Mate in the Submarine Forces and later earned his commission as a Signals Intelligence/Information Warfare Officer, serving in various leadership roles until his retirement in 2019. The legacy of service extends further with Janet’s father, Gale, her grandfather, Jake, and three nephews who have all served, exemplifying their family’s deep commitment to the nation.
