James Ball served six years in the US Navy in the nuclear submarine service after high school. With the cold war at its peak, as it is again today, it was a very interesting time to be in the clandestine business. Both his brothers are veterans as well. Tom served four years in the Marine Corps and Jerry did four years in the Navy.
James went to college after the military and earned a Cum Laude degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Loras College in Dubuque, Ia. He spent 18 year with Deere & Co. with responsibility for the six New England states and New York. He was recruited into the merger and acquisition arena for four years. Desiring a more independent status he entered the financial and insurance business in 1994 and received his CFP accreditation in 2000.
He started his own agency in 1997. His focus has always been “innovative solutions” to satisfy client objectives. He functions as a fiduciary, thus his focus is on the clients best interest, not that of an insurance company or financial organization.
James has had extensive experience working with non-profits including two stints as Chairman of the Board with “The Loveland Center”. The Loveland Center serves adults with developmental disabilities.
