About Edward Lent
Edward Lent has spent several years working with children with special needs and providing for their care as well as the care for their family members. He’s passionate about working with individuals with special needs, families, and businesses. Edward is dedicated to helping his clients avoid probate, and minimize Federal and State taxes, and provide for those with special needs. He understands that although most clients share many of the same concerns — such as tax planning, health care cost in the event of illness, and wealth preservation — he is committed to crafting the best possible, customized estate plan for every client.
Experience
Edward has a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering with a focus in astronautics and a minor in math. He worked at NASA’s Johnson Space center in Houston, Texas until the end of the space shuttle program. After the end of the shuttle program, he went to law school at Florida A&M in Orlando, Florida. He graduated manga cum laude in the top 3% of his class. After law school, he worked for a year at the United States Patent and Trademark office and is currently a clerk for a federal administrative law judge at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Personal
As an active member of his community, Edward is well aware of the importance of estate planning and dedicates himself to informing the public of the need for careful attention to their specific situations. He is recognized for his ability to reduce complex legal principles into understandable concepts. In addition to helping clients secure the peace of mind that comes from having a well – crafted estate plan in place, Edward also volunteers his time to help children with special needs.
