Edward and Geitta Hawkins are excited and proud to serve the Jacksonville SE community. They both graduated from Webster University. Geitta has a Master of Business Administration. Edward has a MA in Human Resources Development, MA in Information Technology Management and MA in Management and Leadership. Edward severed in the United States Navy for 20 years, and Geitta has worked for the Department of Navy for 32 years. They have been happily married for 30 years and are the proud parents/grandparents of 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
The idea of being an entrepreneur came to light when Edward attended the Veteran Entrepreneurship workshop at University of North Florida (UNF) in October 2018. He said “If they can do it, so can I”. Edward and Geitta’s passion have always been helping others no matter what. Purchasing a franchise was a great way to start a new adventure in helping others on a broader scale. Edward, became the primary caregiver of his brother-in-law who is mental disable. Caring for his brother-in-law, due to the illness of his mother-in-law and his wife work schedule. Edward was up for the task and love every minute of it. This also gave him a new perspective of what it is meant to be a caregiver.
