I have been working in the senior healthcare industry for over 12 years, helping families find the care options that best match the seniors’ needs. I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. I am an animal lover! I have a passion for helping families, especially when it comes to our senior population. Our seniors need advocates for them and I’m glad to do my part. In 2014 I completed the Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) certification to better serve seniors.

In 1931 my grandmother, Sophie Mannion, opened the first board and care home in Kaimuki, Hawaii, on the Island of Oahu. My father told me many stories of my grandmother taking seniors into their home and caring for them till they passed. I also grew up watching my father take care of my grandmother in our home until she passed at the age of 91. I have been very blessed with the experience of having my father live with me until his passing.

Derek is the real deal! Not all placement specialist are created equal and it was easy for me to see that Derek is the best of the best. He is extremely knowledgeable in the assisted living and memory care industry.
