Dr. Lucchese was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, the youngest of 7 of a big, Italian Catholic Family. He completed his medical training at Des Moines University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and Surgical training in Detroit, MI, and spent several years in private practice in Northwest Ohio.  His practices included General & Minimally Invasive Surgical services, Inpatient wound care services, Chronic Back and Neck Pain, Illness Prevention and Holistic Health.

He was recruited to the North Dallas area in 2011.  He then turned his focus to the surrounding areas senior population, providing outpatient services to patients in their homes as well as Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Communities. His certifications are in Surgery, Integrative/Holistic Medicine and Wound Care, Dementia care, Assisted Living Manager and most recently as a Senior Transition Specialist.

As a Wound care Surgeon, he attended to the Elderly in approximately 20 Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Communities per week over three and a half years. This is where he was introduced to THE HORROR!  And this is where God revealed to him His Purpose for his life! It was then that his focus had changed from caring for the Elderly’s wounds to caring for their hearts!

Since 2015, he has been providing and coordinating care in patient’s homes and long-term senior living communities. He currently has the privilege of caring for patients from hospital discharge through end-of-life through post-acute care, house calls, and hospice practices.

He recently started his newest company, Reliable Senior Transition Services.  With Reliable Senior Transition Services, he serves as a trusted advisor helping to guide families through the stressful and overwhelming transition of their loved ones from where they are, to where they safely need to be. He serves families as a Senior Transition Specialist to evaluate their loved ones needs (physical/mental/social/spiritual) and current situation, evaluate their senior housing/care preferences (ie location, size, etc), assess their finances (unlock financial resources to help pay for long term care), and provide placement into a new home community so all involved can relax, smile and enjoy the peace knowing their loved one is well cared for and in a safe, loving environment!
