Like a solid house, I have built the foundation of my career as a former business owner and now as a Realtor on a work ethic learned as a boy and a desire to exceed my clients’ expectations. I will work tirelessly to advocate for you and your real estate investment by being an open, honest and friendly communicator. With specialized training as an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) as well as a Military Relocation Specialist (MRP), I am always working to hone my skills and increase my knowledge base to better serve my clients.
One of my life’s biggest regrets is not having served my country in the Armed Forces. I have several family members and friends that have served and I have such high respect and very thankful for their service. Now that I am a Realtor, I do have the opportunity to give a little bit back to our patriots by helping them through the home buying process. I felt it very import to become a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) in order to better serve the veteran and active duty folks who have made up about 40% of my client base.
I joined the Peace Properties Team at Liz Moore and Associates after 17 years as a small business owner. Joining with fellow Southside Virginian, Gayle Peace, we have created a formidable team dedicated to providing the same type of hospitality, work ethic and commitment to “doing the right thing” that we were raised on. While a native Brunswick County, Virginia, and beautiful Lake Gaston, I have called the Richmond area home since graduating from Randolph-Macon College in 1993 with a degree in Political Science. I love the Richmond area for it’s rich history, many activities and unique restaurants. After having purchased and sold homes in Henrico, Richmond City and Chesterfield over the years, I developed a passion for real estate and have turned that into a career. I work with buyers and sellers in Chesterfield, Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Powhatan, Goochland, Amelia and Petersburg.
When not selling real estate, you will find me spending time with my wife, Kimberly, and our kindergartner twins, Thomas and Lizzie. I love being outdoors; enjoying a round of golf, hunting, fishing, grilling, exploring Virginia wineries or attending sporting events. I have a sense of humor, believe in treating others how I would like to be treated and I’ve been told I’m a pretty good cook. Among my specialties to make are smoked brisket and, of course, Brunswick Stew.
