Military Background – Brian comes from a multi-generational military family. Most of his uncles and great uncles served in uniform. His father retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army after 30 years and two tours in Vietnam. Brian’s twin brother and 3 brother-in-laws all served long careers in the Army as well. Brian, himself gained his Army commission from the United States Military Academy, West Point, in 1983 and served 6 years in the Army in both the Armor and Aviation branches. His favorite assignment was with the 8th Infantry Division in Mainz, Germany where he flew missions in an attack helicopter battalion (…and skied a lot. 😊)

Among his many projects, Brian is most proud of managing a multi-year community effort to modify the plans of an incoming housing development for the safety of his beloved neighborhood. He has also served on the board of directors of his West Point alumni chapter as President, Vice President, and Treasurer for nearly ten years.
