Bobbie Jo Kinsey Bio
She was born in NYC and her family settled in Colorado where she grew up. Attending college in Grand Junction, CO with a degree in Recreation Management and then later went on to design school in Las Vegas. She then settled back in Colorado with her husband, son and dogs!
After having to move her Mom and Step-father from a 20 acre ranch in the middle of Wyoming to Cheyenne Independent Living Bobbie Jo learned a lot about how much stuff people collect over multiple decades. Her Stepfather had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and her mother had been trying to care for him and the house, barn, animals etc. by herself. She then had to move then again as his condition worsened. She reached out to a Senior Placement agent and was able to help with the selection. They were kind and caring about my family’s needs. We chose to bring them back to Colorado as they needed Assisted Living and Memory Care! Bobbie Jo learned first-hand what families faced. Shortly after this coupled with her Interior design degree, she set up her company Trusted Transitions of CO to help families navigate through the journey of safely transitioning loved ones into Senior Living!
Bobbie Jo’s Interior Design degree (NCIDQ certified) was a perfect mix with her organizational skills to help families through this time. She loves helping the Senior adult population and creating the feeling of their large homes into their smaller homes. We also help Seniors travel from one city to another when they are moving and loved ones aren’t able to assist. We do whatever it takes to assist the Senior(s) and families. We have also started helping with Estate Sales and Home Clean outs as we have found the Families generally do not want what is left after the move.
Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and with respect, especially as we age. The generation aging out into the Senior Communities are the greatest generation! Our veterans fought for our country. We would not have what we have today if it weren’t for their hard work. We need to make sure these people are well taken care of as the generations to follow.
