The McKeown family raises American Quarter Horses and Tim serves as president of the Brown County Horseman’s Association, an organization that is building a $1.1 million venue on the fairgrounds that will help the youth of the county and also serve as a driver of economic development.

A Legacy of Service
Our family has a proud legacy of service spanning over 160 years, beginning with the Civil War. A great uncle made the ultimate sacrifice at Gettysburg. My grandfather endured being gassed in World War I, and Uncle Earl fought bravely in the Battle of the Bulge. From these historic conflicts to recent engagements in Afghanistan, our family’s commitment to serving this country has been unwavering. Their courage and dedication are a proud part of our family heritage.
