Thanks for checking me out. I specialize in financial services for seniors. This means Medicare choices, life insurance, burial insurance and long-term care planning. The VA hospitals are limited in space and there may be a lengthy wait to get into the one you would like. That’s where planning for that interim period is important.
Medicare is confusing to most people. I explain how it all works in “normal” words, not insurance lingo so you will understand and be confident in your selection. Even after your plan is in place, I am here to help you navigate the years and changes ahead.
I grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from the University of Minnesota in Business Administration (now known as the School of Management). My career has always been in financial matters: agricultural lending, banking, then as a financial advisor with Thrivent Financial and now, my own business.
My brother, Larry, served in the Naval Air Reserve, based in Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in Puerto Rico and Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Florida. My father-in-law served honorably in WW II.

I grew up on a farm close to New Prague and have ties to the area. My mother is still on the farm. For several years I worked in manufacturing. I have seen firsthand, through my co-workers’ experience, the effects of making poor decisions about retirement income and health coverage choices so I have made it my goal to help others prevent falling into those traps.
