Dr. Alicia Decker has served Veterans as a clinical pharmacist for over 20 years and has been serving her family and friends to navigate the complex healthcare system for just as long. She has seen firsthand the importance of an extra pair of knowledgeable eyes on care through her own experiences as a patient. While she served as a patient care clinical pharmacist for the beginning of her career, she has spent most of her tenure focused on patient safety, medication safety, and strengthening systems and processes to reduce preventable medical errors and achieve zero Veteran harm. She is dedicated to give back to the men and women who have put their lives on the line for her freedoms. Her work is dedicated to her family who has served: her dad, father-in-law, stepfather-in-law, 2 uncles, brother, cousin, and grandfathers.
