After receiving his master’s degree in accounting in 2005, Carl enhanced his education with a law degree from the University of Denver. He graduated with a Juris Doctorate (JD) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation. Carl’s career began in the accounting field in 2005 working at the international “Big 4” firm, Ernest & Young. Throughout the years, he has also worked in local industry and regional public firms.
Carl took his years of experience as a CPA and utilized it to open his attorney practice in 2015. He specializes in assisting businesses and individuals in navigating complicated legal and tax regulations. Carl is committed to helping entrepreneurs succeed while minimizing exposure to legal and tax liabilities.
Passion for entrepreneurship led him to successfully launch and run both service-providing and product-selling businesses.
He has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a tech start-up. And, he provides legal counsel and tax advice to a variety of ambitious businesses and individuals, from self-employed realtors to contract Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).
