My first year of service and the following decade were in selling condominium timeshares. Conducting three ninety-minute presentations daily and closing lots of sales, I CAN SELL YOUR REAL PROPERTY! I know the administrative side of real estate as an escrow secretary. I handled the intricacies of contracts and the escrow process during the following five years. During the great recession, with invaluable knowledge of life investments such as life insurance and mutual funds, I accomplished hands-on financial planning. Today I understand and can communicate clearly with real estate investors who manage a portfolio of investments. Today I have insight into various age groups and life stages. When a family starting out needs a home; or empty nesters need to handle their real estate in retirement planning, I am the professional you need. I am a well-rounded realtor able to help YOU because I’ve walked the talk. Licensed in Hawaii since 1979, I can promise this: “You won’t be disappointed, and you can trust me with your real estate needs!” Born in the islands, I can totally assist you with Hawaii Real Estate.
My father, Jack Dempsey Edenfield, fell in love with my mother in Hawaii while in the Coast Guard. An event that bore two girls a year apart who often passed as twins. Jack’s six older brothers ALL served in the armed forces. Being the youngest male, Jack served during the Korean War. Family members rumored that Jack lied about his age and had joined the Coast Guard when he wasn’t yet 17. No one was the wiser until he showed up on leave back home in Statesboro, Georgia, in uniform.
The youngest of the two girls, I never really knew my father until I met him when I turned 21. Having the opportunity to travel, I met all of my six uncles who served in WW II. Without the internet, Georgia was an ocean and a continent away from the Hawaiian Islands. We had lost contact after the divorce. Both parents remarried.
I learned that I could be proud to be from a family that served this great country of ours without exception. My reunion with my father’s tight-knit family in Statesboro gave me the missing definition a young woman seeks as she discovers her true identity. We are defined by our beliefs, and we are willing to safeguard those beliefs in life, liberty, and justice. As a realtor, I can help Vets here in Hawaii, a paradise of change, exotic grandeur, and beauty. If you’re a Vet, please, don’t hesitate to contact me. Mahalo!
