In addition, Andrea holds the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. Nationwide, only 3% of real estate associates have this distinction. As an elite member of this group, Andrea demonstrates high sales performance, with successful completion of advanced courses in listing, selling, taxes and investment. Andrea was one of the first Realtors® from Hawaii to earn the e-PRO technology certification, recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® to represent enhanced marketing and technology strategies. In addition to residential sales, Andrea has worked with developers on several projects. She has a keen understanding of the construction process from site work to building materials, construction cost and governmental regulatory agencies. “I feel it is important to stay abreast of issues that affect property owners and our community. Through volunteer participation in many organizations, I am able to achieve this objective and better serve my clients.” Andrea has been a member of the Honolulu Board of Realtors® (HBR), Hawaii Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors® since 1985.
In 2018 she served on HAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors performing the duties of the Executive Committee Liaison. Previously, she served as a Chairperson for the HBR City Affairs and HBR Issues Mobilization Committee, as well as past HBR Equal Opportunity Committee Chairperson. She also served on the Hawaii Association of Realtors as a trustee for RPAC (Realtors political action committee).
She is involved in numerous community projects throughout Hawaii; Adult Friends for Youth, Hawaii MDA, Relay for Life, Volunteer teaching in school and cherished her position as a director and past President in the HUGS (Help, Understanding, and Group Support) agency for 18 years. This non profit group provides families with assistance for medically fragile children and support for the entire family.
